VOODOO SIX Schedules First Gig Of The Year
January 8, 2008VOODOO SIX, the UK band formed by former DIRTY DEEDS bassist Tony Newton, will play its first show of the year at the Purple Turtle in Camden, London on Saturday, January 19, with support coming from BIG NUM and MEN & GODS.
This will be the group's first gig with new guitarist Chris Jones, who joins Tony Newton on bass, Matt Pearce on guitar, Henry Rundell on vocals and Grav on drums.
VOODOO SIX's new album, "First Hit for Free", will be released in March, mixed by Mike Fraser (AC/DC, AEROSMITH, GUNS N' ROSES, METALLICA),preceded by the single "Faith".
The "Faith" video was shot last week, directed by George Chin.
VOODOO SIX is featured in this month's Classic Rock and is also on the covermount CD.
